Last week, the MSHS held our first-quarter Academic Pepfest to celebrate students who have been showing outstanding Giant POWER—Pride, Ownership, Willingness, Empathy, and Respect. We also recognized our Students of the Month, who continue to lead by example and make our school community stronger.

Today, 18 Unified students attended the Character Academy Leadership Conference in Minneapolis — a day filled with positivity, enthusiasm, and connection 💙✨

Our group had the opportunity to engage with other Unified Champion Schools from across Minnesota, learning about the message of confidence.💪😊

6th graders recently participated in the Lions Club Peace Poster Contest. Students created their posters based on the theme Together As One. Our local Le Sueur Lions Club judged all the posters that were completed and submitted. Dakoda Groothousen won first place, and Connor McDonough-Hartwell won second place. Dakoda's poster has now been sent on to the district level for further judging. All the participating students enjoyed creating what they thought was Together As One.
