Congratulations to the High School Concert Band on their Superior Rating at Large Group Contest on March 26 at Glencoe-Silver Lake!
This is the highest rating a band can earn, and it is a true testament to our students’ focus, pride, and dedication to the growth of the band program! 💙🎶💛
Yesterday, the AVID 10 students visited Dakota County Technical College in Rosemount, MN. The visit included an admissions presentation and guided tour of the campus, where students had the opportunity to explore the state-of-the-art facilities and resources available at DCTC. During the tour, they learned about a variety of unique programs and career opportunities customized to meet the needs of today’s job market.

The Snow Week Dance will be on Saturday, February 8th from 8-10pm at the High School. All students in grades 9-12 are invited to attend. The cost is $5 and water/pop will be available for purchase.

The LSH Unified PE Club hosted a school-wide assembly to celebrate World Kindness Day, focusing on the themes of kindness and inclusion. It was a wonderful opportunity for the whole school to come together and recognize the importance of these values.

Students in Mr. Everson and Mr. Ronningen's Career and Technical Education courses at LSH participated in Construct Tomorrow, which took place in Mankato on Tuesday. This event provided students with valuable hands-on experience in various construction trades and facilitated connections with apprenticeship programs and employers in the various trades.
